Dr. Miles Nervine

This old ad hangs in our half bath
Dad’s bathroom everybody calls it
Bought it years ago from my late friend Bob Burns 
Lately I wish I had some to enlist
Lay awake at nights and ponder life
Some Nervine might be just the thing
Calm my nerves and soothe my soul
Some drowsiness it just might bring
Somebody recently told me I was zen
Maybe so during the day
But lately when I go to bed
All my zenness seems to drift away 
Can’t buy this product anymore
Or I would try a teaspoon at night
Still it soothes my soul seeing it hang there
And reminds of something that might do me right
When I was getting radiation back in the day
Was gifted a bottle of oil from Robin and John
I have some left so might give it a try
Smuggled in from Colorado so I can’t go wrong . . .
